Should I Schedule a Newborn Session?

YES YES YES! You can not get this time back. These fleeting moments are those you want to remember forever! It's so hard to see how much they grow each day while your spending hours memorizing every little feature of their face. Your days are spent adjusting to your new role as a parent, running on little sleep, while trying to get back on your feet, back to your job and maintaining a home. Before you know it your in a nice little routine. Then all of a sudden your baby's sitting, crawling and walking and you think to yourself "what just happened?" Your baby is growing up right before your eyes. You forget all too soon how very little they once were. The peeling skin, the little toes, the rolls and tiny hand dimples. Gahh my heart melts just thinking about it! Most photographers prefer to capture these moments during your babies first few weeks of life. That passes by so quickly!!!
So ask your self...will you regret not doing it?
If the answer is yes, then my suggestion is to start looking around while your pregnant. Don't be afraid talk to photographers, ask questions, know what to expect. There are so many different styles of newborn photography. When you find the photographer you like, book them! Planning ahead will also help you plan financially for these precious images. Since you have already booked your session, it's on your mind when baby is born and you look forward to their session and sweet little images. It can be hard spending extra money when you're on maternity leave. I get it, I've been there 5 times! If it's something important to you, and you value it, you plan for it!

I am a mother of 5 beautiful children and a puppy (well she's 10, but she'll always be my puppy). I'm married to an incredibly supportive man and pushes me to follow my dreams.
